En el pasado Laban fue galardonada por su diseño. Gracias ala pluma Dragón, Laban fue premiada con el galardón COVETED LEWIS & CLARKE. Este premio lo entrega la ROYAL ACADEMY OF FINE ART DE LONDRES.
La pluma Dragón es una edición especial de 50 unidades en oro de 22 kilates y 800unidades en plata de ley 925.
HISTORIA
LABAN since 1981
LABAN Pen Corporation was founded in 1981, when John Hu partnered with his brother Charles to build their own manufacturing plant with the goal of producing the highest quality Silver and Rhodium-plated writing instruments.
With the 1993 introduction of its Filigree line of metal overlay pens utilizing a specialized etching process; LABAN had established itself as a major international manufacture.
Vatican Museum Pen
LABAN is proud to produce designs for special private labeling needs.
From 1997 to 1999, the company was selected to be the exclusive manufacture of the Vatican Museum line of pens, producing the Museum’s stunning and unique designs.
Dragon Pen
The first dragon pen introduced in 2004 featured a three-dimensional dragon´s head as the cap and an elaborately sculpted barrel. The 1,000 pieces limited edition included Sterling and Gold-plated finished as well as twenty two solid 22 karat gold fountain pens.
It was awarded Lewis & Clarke Award for Best Writing Instrument of 2004 from the Royal Academy of Arts of the United Kingdom.
This prestigious honor recognizes the talented efforts of the LABAN Pen Corporation in its creation of the luxurious Dragon fountain pen.

Hand-painted Kaiser Series
LABAN Kaiser Series presents hand painted art to empower your writing.
Each pen is painted by hand- a process that takes 8-10 hours to complete, followed by ten layers of lacquer and an hour polishing. Highly polished Italian resin with Rhodium-plated trim.
The engraved clip and bands add an elegant touch. It won “Best Fashion Pen” of 2011 Reader’s Choice Award in Pen World Magazine.
